OUR
STORY
The Red Wolf is an upscale emporium style shop carrying
small designers of men's and women's clothing, shoes,
handbags, jewelry, home furnishings, and more. It is
nestled in the lovely downtown of Saratoga Springs, NY.
The Red Wolf has an ever changing and eclectic mix of
beautiful items in the shop. The Red Wolf opened April
17, 2010.
In
December 2009, Kendra and Mark, and their 2 huskies
Nikita and Iko, packed up their life on Martha’s
Vineyard and settled into a 52 acre farm in West
Glenville, NY complete with pond, barns, and lots of
wonderful trails. In January 2010, they began
renovations on 15 Spring Street in downtown Saratoga
Springs and began to create their long held dream of the
Red Wolf. After several months of renovations and
with the help and support of family members, the Red
Wolf was ready to open.

On April
17, 2010, the dream came true when the doors of the Red
Wolf opened on 15 Spring Street in downtown Saratoga
Springs, New York. Kendra has always believed that
beautiful things are the equilibrium of the soul. A
“beautiful thing” can be your dog’s face, a deer you
spot on your early morning walk, a new spring flower, a
cashmere sweater, a fantastic pair of boots, a great
handbag, a sparkly piece of jewelry, a big fruit bowl, a
painting, a candle, or a silky bar of soap. They all
just seem to make us feel happy and alive. Kendra has
stocked the store full of wonderful and eclectic items
that she has loved for years and the Red Wolf is always
on the lookout for more new and wonderful things.
In
addition to the wonderful things that Kendra buys and
brings to the shop in Saratoga Springs, there is
furniture made from reclaimed wood and created by Mark
Yale. Mark creates these pieces in his barn in West
Glenville and are on display in the shop in downtown
Saratoga Springs.

The Red
Wolf was named after Kendra and Mark’s first husky,
Lobo, who was red.
He was the best boy ever and such a
gentleman and is missed dearly each day.
